About Blue Skies^® Private Air Safaris

Blue Skies started in 1997 providing expert travel advice to busy and discerning people. We quickly developed a reputation for excellence in our field.

Our own Blue Skies Private Air Safaris were created by our resident pilot, lawyer and one time farmer Alec Waugh who grew up in rural New South Wales. Alec has always had a strong link to rural Australia, its people and the wonderful landscape that makes up Australia and is still actively involved in the family property Taloumbi Station which has been in the same family since 1888.

With Alec's passion for the land, flying and his contacts within the aviation community all combined with years of travel experience, we have been able to develop a range of highly personalised and exclusive small group tours. Our private adventures use a special executive jet turbine aircraft which can take you in luxury to some of the most remarkable places in Australia. Just like our own little airliner.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing our clients with unique experiences we developed our own 'fly-in' property Toumbaal Plains which is an integral part of a Blue Skies Private Air Safaris. Toumbaal Plains House is an architectural award winning property which will allow you to experience a very remote and beautiful coastal landscape all to your selves. You taxi right to the door of this wilderness escape.
