The operation is based at the Manali Holiday Inn. The helicopter sits on the back lawn. The hotel is of a high standard and it is rated 5 star, however, it has the peculiarities that one finds in Indian institutions. Facilities include: sauna. spa, steam room, weights room, squash courts, massage therapist, hairdressing salon, a reasonable bar, coffee shop, restaurant, 24 hour room service and a children's centre. All rooms are heated and have five channels of television.

The cooks at the Holiday Inn are very good with standards laid down by Holiday Inn International (much higher than those generally found in the USA). To supervise food preparation we employ an Australian. Special food requirements can be catered for with notification.
