The Town of ManaliManali
town is an old mountain town which caters for the growing
Indian Middle class. It is a bustling summer resort town
where people come to escape the oppressive heat of the
Indian plains in summer. The town is set amongst cedar
forests at an altitude of 2000 metres with a permanent
population of about 3000.
We believe that we have more variety in
the way of apres skiing than any other ski area. While we
admit we are a bit short on discos and celebrity
spotting, there are numerous other diversions in this
culturally rich and diverse area.
No-fly days do happen due to bad
weather and on these days we go touring.
