BLOOMFIELD LODGE Exclusive Rainforest Lodge, Cape Tribulation National Park Bloomfield Lodge is beautifully
remote. Perched on the southern side of the Bloomfield River estuary, and
surrounded by the rainforests of Cape Tribulation National Park, the lodge is
accessible only by sea and its 17 exclusive rooms ensure your privacy amongst
the surrounding rainforest. North Queensland harbours the very last of
Australia’s tropical rainforests. They represent a unique natural spectacle,
the only place in the world where rainforest actually meets reef, as the rugged
slopes of the Great Dividing Range drop steeply from the cool heights of the
Tablelands to the coastal beaches and the Great Barrier Reef. A World Heritage
site since 1985, the rainforests provide visitors with the opportunity to see
wildlife and habitat more akin to the forests of Papua New Guinea than Hosts: Peter & Pat MacPherson Accommodation / Meals: 17 cabins with 4 levels of accommodation, all ensuite.
