The Amanwana is the first Amanhideaway and its twenty luxury tents are unique in the Pacific.

Located fifteen kilometres off the coast of Sumbawa, west of Lombok and Bali, this nature camp has only twenty luxury tented accommodations. The Island has been a nature reserve since 1976 and provides a unique and secluded nature experience.

Don't be deceived by the term luxury tents. The hideaway has a magnificent open plan bar, restaurant and lounge area overlooking the sea. Also the reception areas have a beautiful library featuring a selection of reading materials.

All the tents are of the same design and are spacious with the added advantage of air conditioning. Each tent has a kingsize bed with lounges and an outside terrace which surrounds each tent. The tents also feature an beautiful bathroom.

The restaurant serves a set choice of Western and Asian meals. You can also arrange to have a romantic dinner served on the sundeck or on the beach.

You are transported to the Amanwana by Cessna Caravan Turbine sea plane. You land on the ocean just in front of this beautiful escape.
