Activities

Toumbaal Plains House is set on 200 acres surrounded by New South Wales largest coastal national park.  It is a truly unique location with views out to sea and along the coastal range.  We can arrange a number of specific activities for you at additional cost.

If you are flying in with some friends how about some kayaking on one of Australia's cleanest coastal river systems or a day of deep sea fishing.

Aerial Adventures

With our own airfield we can arrange a selection of aerial adventures including introductory flying lessons for the family or some local area sightseeing in conjunction with our friends at Coffs Coast Jet Centre.  Try your hand at an introduction to aerobatics or take a flight to Byron Bay for lunch.  Fancy doing a parachute jump arrival!

Talk to us about tailoring a Blue Skies Aerial Adventure in conjunction with your stay at Toumbaal Plains.

Outback Fly Away Experience
1 to 2 night fly away

We have a special Outback Fly-away experience for those visitors that want to get a flavour for the outback blended with their coastal escape at Toumbaal Plains.

We leave after breakfast and fly to a 20,000 acre sheep station where you will have time to explore this wonderful property and have dinner with the family that own and run the station.  The flight in itself is a wonderful experience which shows you first hand the diversity of New South Wales as you leave the coast and coastal ranges behind and fly beyond the western slopes to outback New South Wales.

This is a very authentic Australian rural experience where you meet real people in real settings.

Colonial Homestead Fly Away Experience
1 night fly away

Fancy catching your own fish from the pristine surrounding waters and flying to an historic colonial mansion to have it cooked by a top chef.  For those that want a unique historical experience which provides a snap shot of the colonial grandeur of the last century when the Squatters ran Australia you have to take this experience.

We leave after breakfast and fly up the coast before heading over the border ranges before arriving at this famous old station homestead for lunch.  You will stay the night before leaving the next morning to commence your travels.

We have a caretaker who is a retired commercial fisherman so if you want some real local knowledge he can help you along to drop a line in to the local river or off the beach.

We can also arrange half day or full day deep sea fishing trips for groups of up to 10 people.  Just let us know what you want to do and we will arrange it.  These are fully tailored trips so you don't have to join in with other people.

A full days fishing includes lunch, refreshments all bait and equipment.  You meet the boat at 7am and will be returned at 3pm.  The boat is a well appointed 36 foot Steber which includes a toilet
